Tel-Air Films Announces an Exciting Nationwide Project with American Public Television

Tel-Air Interests and Tel-Air Films will partner with American Public Television to launch a new series entitled "Don't Tell Me How to Art."

Miami, FL—Tel-Air Films, a Miami-based nonprofit organization will work with Tel-Air Interests, a local television and production company, to partner with American Public Television to bring its new original series, Don’t Tell Me How to Art, to public television stations nationwide. Production is set to begin in the late fall of 2025, with the premiere expected to air June 2026.
Don’t Tell Me How to Art is a vibrant new streaming series that immerses viewers in the lives and work of groundbreaking artists redefining the cultural landscape through music, dance, performance, and visual arts. Each episode captures how these creators channel their distinct voices to reflect and reshape the cities they call home. Over the course of eight episodes, the series will profile diverse and multi-faceted artists in cities across America who are pushing the boundaries of their mediums and challenging artistic conventions.
The series plans to spotlight several cultural hubs to include Miami, FL, Philadelphia, PA, Austin, TX, Chicago, IL, and Asheville, NC. Grant Gravitt, Tel-Air Film’s Founder and Board President stated, "This project represents the very heart of Tel-Air Films’ mission.
