After 30 years as a non-profit executive director and leader, she was tired of seeing great people being overworked, great work going underfunded, and the underserved being left behind. This is when Grace Anne became The Fuse. The Fuse serves all organizations by strategically linking your mission, vision, values, and goals to ignite your organization and the communities it serves.

Grace Anne acts as our chief superhero, overseeing every project to ensure that your brand’s voice and tone are captured perfectly. With her expert guidance, we hand-select the best team of researchers, writers, editors, designers, and digital media experts to bring your project to life.
Danielle has a great passion for holistic healing and health. She carries a multitude of experiences and education on topics encompassing body, mind, and spirit with extensive knowledge as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, Bodyworker, Reiki Practitioner, and Vedic Counselor. She is the author of Activate Your Life – teachings and coaching exercises to transform one’s life and the founder of The Yoga Service Movement offering free yoga, wellness lectures, and mindfulness classes to those facing economic hardships. Through AIA, she applies her powers to help bring others to their fullest potential, balance, and happiness at The Boost.
Good, simple design, no matter the medium is what drives Phoebe. A slightly unconventional childhood wrapped in a very unconventional education helped her foster a love for strong communication and design. Her life has led a very surreptitious route in creating educational programs, marketing materials, and curricula in energy and environmental science, engineering, and business.
Phoebe presented the Visual Culture: Incorporating Original Art to the eLearning Guild with Grace Anne Alfiero. She continues to develop eLearning programs, as well as, digital publishing projects for AIA clients. Amy’s passion for helping others can be traced back to her days volunteering with people with disabilities. Being an “accidental” Social Worker, became one of the best choices of her life over ten years ago when she lived with young adults with disabilities as a housing mentor. Amy has had many adventures as a Grant Writer, Project Manager, Researcher, and Medical Social Worker making her solution-driven powers a perfect fit for AIA clients as she applies her Explorer superpowers.
Tatiana is the Owner and Senior Producer of Teaspoon & Pound Media, is an emerging independent film and media maker who curates and amplifies the ancestral wisdom of subjects and characters rendered virtually invisible in mainstream media. Tatiana works with Arts in Action clients as a freelance journalist and photographer, bringing her Starburst power to your organization!
With more than 20 years of experience creating effective communication campaigns, The Pollinators spread ideas, information, and messaging for regional and national brands. Lindsey and Matthew specialize in building authentic connections through the digital experience with your most valued audiences. Lindsey’s communications roles have allowed her to manage creative teams for some of the nation’s biggest brands, and oversee a variety of disciplines including advertising, branding, multi-media production, digital content, and public relations. A tenured sales leader, Matthew has spent his career with Anheuser-Busch supporting locally owned businesses and area non-profits.
Erin helps businesses and nonprofits reach their full potential through strategic marketing. With extensive expertise in grant writing, social media, email campaigns, and blogging, she creates standout digital and traditional assets that CONNECT organizations to their target audiences. Erin is also passionate about making a difference. She volunteers and sits on the Board of Directors of the Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless and is a founding member of Philadelphia Next-Gen Women for Good.
Offering the perspective of Generation Z and reaching newer, younger demographics, Amelia is an Associate Designer at AIA. She is an incoming freshman at Bloomsburg University’s Honors College where she will study Public Policy and Environmental Science. Her school interests include musical theater, choir, cheerleading, participating in the world affairs club, serving as the social media specialist for her choir, and running the Youth Leadership Academy for the Blue Ridge Leadership Institute. Malia thrives on combining her extensive leadership experience across a myriad of disciplines, well-honed skills, and a passion for making an impact to the benefit of mission-focused organizations. With a background steeped in award-winning non-profit and consumer products public relations, higher education and healthcare fundraising, grant making, board and volunteer engagement, and family business entrepreneurship, Malia delights at strategically pulling the right levers at right time to support clients in achieving, and exceeding, their project goals. Malia fuels her soul, and work, through an active lifestyle focused on family, holistic fitness, and a lot of fun.
Sydney is an emerging grant writer and lifelong artist deeply committed to advocating for current and former foster youth's access to the arts. Having recently earned an MA in Arts Administration from Kutztown University, she blends her passion for grant writing with her personal experiences as a former foster youth to champion inclusive arts programs. Sydney channels her own journey into art, believing in its power for healing and empowerment.
Priyanka is a third-year pre-medical student at New York University, studying Neuroscience and Bioethics. Alongside her studies, she is actively engaged with the South Asian cultural association and medical entrepreneurship club and plans to pursue medical school. Her role at Arts in Action involves the creation of grant matrices and she enjoys learning about the goals of each nonprofit organization!
Storytelling and wordcraft are Julia’s greatest passions – especially when she can use them to advocate for others and help them thrive. A writer with expertise in editing, research, and communications, she strives to craft captivating narratives, convey organizations’ visions, and amplify their impact. With a background in book publishing and a BA from Smith College, Julia blends rigor and creativity to strike a compelling, persuasive balance in her projects. Julia works with Arts in Action as a freelance grant writer, dedicated to making a difference.
